Allied Credit Collections and
the Truth About Your Debt

Allied Credit Collections
is a firm which has purchased the debt from the original creditor (or
in some cases another debt purchasing company) for a small percentage
of the original value of the debt and is trying to extort the full value
from you.
Allied Credit Collections
will use all sorts of nasty methods to get you to set up a standing
order or direct debit so that they can make a quick profit. You may
have already experienced bad and terrifying experiences of them. They
may call you at odd times and on an unacceptably numerous number of
occasions. They may be sending you official appearing nastily worded
letters or cards threatening to come round to collect the amount in
full or that they will take you to court if you cannot pay. Other strategies
may include saying that they will make a charging order on your property
or in some way bring about your destitution.
So ask Allied Credit Collections
for a copy of the original contract when you took out your loan or credit
card.
Even better, start
an unenforceable
credit agreement application enquiry. It costs nothing to do this
and you are protected by the consumer credit laws. Click
here for the unenforceable contract application form.

More
Data On Allied Credit Collections
My
thanks to the excellent Consumer Action Group forums for these extracts:
Allied Credit
Collections stated that they don't do paperwork and that they were
the pre-legal division not debt collectors, so I said "OK please
take me to court then"
We then got
into a heated discussion where he tried to make out that they had
"other" powers than a CCJ and then said "I know where
you work".
When I asked
him to explain that statement - loudly I must admit as he annoyed
me, he said that there was no point in continuing the conversation,
that he would write and put the phone down on me.
If
you have any information that you would like honest people to know
about Allied Credit Collections then send us an email in complete
confidence and we will try to corroborate it with the clowns involved.
