Allied Credit Collections is a firm which has purchased the debt from the original creditor (or in some cases another debt purchasing company) for a small percentage of the original value of the debt and is trying to extort the full value from you.

Allied Credit Collections stated that they don't do paperwork and that they were the pre-legal division not debt collectors, so I said "OK please take me to court then"

We then got into a heated discussion where he tried to make out that they had "other" powers than a CCJ and then said "I know where you work".

When I asked him to explain that statement - loudly I must admit as he annoyed me, he said that there was no point in continuing the conversation, that he would write and put the phone down on me.
